We specialize in outdoor weddings and
events with our eight acres of extensive grounds proviiding
the perfect setting amidst Cypress groves, lush meadows
and beautiful flower gardens.

Our unique luxury acomodations provide
you with many options to create your one of a kind
romantic ceremony and memorable event surrounded by
the breathtaking majesty of the Mendocino Coast.

The Inn at Schoolhouse Creek hosts
formal and casual weddings and events with up to 150
people and a maximum of 55 people lodging in our accomodations
through a combination of king, queen, doubles and
extra beds. Additionally, there are over 130 additional
beds in hotels and inns located within a mile of our
location.

The coast is a great place to elope and we invite those
desiring a simple ceremony or celebration to join us
at the Inn and stay with us to celebrate your union.
We can stage a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the upper
meadow, at one of our private cottages or cliffside
cottages. Our staff will help you arrange for a minister,
cake, champagne toast, and aphotographer. We require
a two night stay minimum and a fee of $1,000 which includes
coordinator fees, minister fees, a small bridal bouquet,
a small cake and champagne. |
We want your special event to be a moment to remember.
From simple to elaborate, our staff will assist you
with planning needs from the start such as coordinating
the officiate, music, photographer, videographer, florist,
cake, catering, decorations, tent arrangements and more.
We have access to discounted pricing with vendors and
our local knowledge will provide you with high quality
services that meet your budget. Our professional event
coordinator will take care of the details so you don't
have to worry and can simply enjoy your event and your
guests. Once you have selected your vendors, the Inn
will provide management of the vendors and be the single
point of contact in coordination to ensure the details
are managed to make your event a success. |

If your guest list exceeds eighteen
people, all sixteen rooms at the Inn must be rented
for a total accommodation fee of $9,300. This fee
includes a two night stay at the Inn for up to 40
people based on double occupancy and includes gratuity
and taxes. Additional guests up to 55 can be added
at a cost of $15 per person. Our off site Cliffside
cottages (if available) can be added for an additional
per night fee of $750. Your guests will enjoy our
full breakfast every morning, fresh baked goods and
coffee available throughout the day as well as a wine
hour in the evening. Our hot tub is located at the
top of the property making it a popular spot to relax
in the afternoon taking in the sunset views over the
Pacific.

All weddings regardless of size
require coordination and detail management. When your
event is outside and not located near where you live,
those details can become overwhelming. We require you
utilize our event coordination services for all wedding
events staged on our property. We will act as your personal
assistant making sure all the fine details and touches
are in place – giving you the freedom to relax
and enjoy your special day.
Our consultation services only apply
to coordination activities on our property. You are
responsible for all activities and events hosted off
site.

Large meadow tent site is located next to our redwood
and pine tree grove offering 180 degree Panoramic
Ocean Views. Total fees include a beautifully appointed
tent reception area with all tables, chairs, linens,
china,
dance floor, sound system, lights, kitchen tent, custom
décor package and wedding coordination services.

If you are looking to be married against the dramatic
backdrop of a stunning sunset on the Pacific Ocean,
our Cliffside Meadow Tent Site is the best location
on the Mendocino Coast. This large meadow tent site
is located 3 miles south of the Inn on a quiet private
road that overlooks gorgeous white water ocean views
with sunsets that will take your breath away. Our Cliffside
Meadow Tent Site offers the same amenities, services
and fees as listed on our Meadow Tent Site Fee Schedule. |
