Water Tower Cottage

Max guests 2
Bed size(s) 1 queen bed

During World War II, the property was turned over to the U.S. Coast Guard to house the shore patrol, which was on the lookout along the shoreline from Point Arena to Westport for invaders. The Coast Guard added three cottages to the property, one of which is our romantic Water Tower cottage which was once an armory and the lookout tower now houses a hot tub instead of an anti-aircraft gun.

The base of the tower holds a private and romantic hot tub; climbing the spiral staircase leads to a lofted viewing platform sure to provide a breathtaking view of the ocean and Mendocino coast. Through the fenced in courtyard, the cottage itself holds a cozy dining table for 2, queen-sized bed with pillow top mattress and a large and sunny bathroom.
